ALICE SPRINGS - THUNDER JUNIORS 2018

    Boys and girls will get their first real taste of playing in a club environment with rules that are modified to maximise skill development, participation and most of all FUN!

    As part of registration, participants receive a pack with a training singlet, shorts, hat and football!

    The Thunder Juniors program relies on parent volunteers to coach and team manage. If you are able to help, or would like to find out more, please click here.

    The Alice Springs details are still being confirmed but games will be fixtured between TIO Traeger Park Oval & Albrecht Oval on a Saturday Morning.

    Matches Starting 28th April – 11th August.
    The first games will be held at Albrecht Oval.
    U/10’s arrive 8.15am for an 8.30am start.
    U/12’s arrive 9.15am for a 9.30am start.
    Last game for term 2 on 30th June.
    Starting back term 3 on 28th July.
    Byes – 9th June (Finke weekend).

    Training information


    All teams will be training individually with their coach, but at the same venue & time. Please ensure you train with your team & coach!

    Training days: Wednesday’s 5.00pm-6.00pm Jim McConville Oval.
    First training is on 2nd May.

    The AFL Northern Territory School Holiday Program introduces both boys and girls who are turning 5 and turning no older than 12 in the year they register to the basic skills of Australian Football.
